I Stand

You looked into my dark heart,
And still saw the beauty of your creation.
I stand amazed by your grace.
You saw my sins, the harm I have brought,
And still saw the wonder of a child.
I stand in awe of your love.
You saw me as I stumbled, bringing others with me,
And still saw the leader I could be.
I stand in wonder of your forgiveness.
